Android Screen Warranty

TWO (2) YEARS WARRANTY

IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT(S) OF BMW Customz UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THE BMW CUSTOMZ TWO (2) YEARS WARRANTY (“WARRANTY”) SET FORTH BELOW. BY USING THE PRODUCT(S) OF BMW CUSTOMZ YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.

 

BMW CUSTOMZ warrants that the Product(s) will be free from material defects under normal use of a period of one (1) year from the date of your purchase (“Warranty Period”).

After the first year, we only provide telephone and email technical support.

If you submit a claim to BMW CUSTOMZ during the 1st ONE YEAR of the Warranty Period, BMW CUSTOMZ will, at its own option:
(i) replace the Product(s) with the same/functional equivalent model

(ii) service or repair or recondition the item back to full working order
(iii) exchange the Product(s) for a partial refund of your purchasing price with the agreement of the buyer (you) (excluding shipping costs).

Any Product(s) that have been refurbished under this Warranty Policy will have the coverage for:
(i) thirty (30) days from the date of refurbishment

HOW TO GET YOUR WARRANTY SERVICE?

To submit a claim to BMW CUSTOMZ within the Warranty Period, you must:

(i) notify BMW CUSTOMZ of the defect(s) in writing via email

(ii) have full co-operation with BMW CUSTOMZ in giving all detailed information of the defects or problems

(iii) return the Product(s) with a valid proof of purchase to the specified address directed by BMW CUSTOMZ.

(iv) you must NOT return the Product(s) to any address listed anywhere by BMW CUSTOMZ without prior approval. You must ask and confirm with BMW CUSTOMZ for the return delivery address before shipping any returns
Please follow the procedures above to obtain the warranty service.

(v) you must remove the product and return to the address provided. Should you require us to remove and reinstall the replacement product, you will be charged the installation cost. 

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?

BMW CUSTOMZ is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the use of the Product(s).

This Warranty does not apply to:
(a) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship in the Product(s);
(b) design features or ornamental aspects of the Product(s) are not a Product(s) defect
(c) normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage, including, but not limited to, scratches, dents and broken plastic or display;
(d) defects or damage caused by misuse, accident (including, without limitation, collision, fire and the spillage of food or liquid), neglect, abuse, alteration, unusual stress, modification, unauthorized tampering, improper or unauthorized repair, installation, wiring, or testing, improper storage, or if the serial number, or warranty seals (either outside or inside) have been removed or tampered with;
(e) damage caused by operating the Product(s) outside the permitted or intended uses described by BMW CUSTOMZ;
(f) damage caused by use with non-BMWCUSTOMZ products; and
(g) any non-BMWCUSTOMZ hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with the Product(s). Eg. ZLINK (Apple CarPlay).

BMW CUSTOMZ reserves the right to disable Product(s) if BMW CUSTOMZ suspects fraud or if BMW CUSTOMZdetermines that the Product(s) are counterfeit, stolen or lost in shipment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Before receiving warranty service, BMW CUSTOMZ may require serial number(s) of the Product(s), full responses to questions to diagnose issues and to follow the procedures for obtaining warranty service. It is important that you DO NOT DISASSEMBLE the BMW CUSTOMZ Product(s), unless you receive consent fromBMW CUSTOMZ technician or employee only. Disassembling at discretion may cause damage to the Product(s) that is not covered by this Warranty. It is YOUR responsibility to notify any other garage or technician working on your vehicle that you have a product or have had coding done from us on your vehicle. If they wipe any coding or cause any of our products to work incorrectly due to their work, we are not responsible and will charge you for the service again, should you require. 

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATIONS LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY POLICY DOES NOT COVER, AND BMW CUSTOMZ IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR: (A) SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS), LOSS OF ANY INSTALLATION COSTS, LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY, LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF REPUTATION, OR LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR (B) ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR USED WITH THE PRODUCT(S) AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT(S).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

No BMW CUSTOMZ reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired. This Warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the country in which the BMW CUSTOMZ Product(s) purchase took place. BMW CUSTOMZ or its successor in title is the warrantor under this Warranty.
